All New Agua Fresca – Santa Cruz Organic

I was lucky enough to review a new product by Santa Cruz Organic, Agua Fresca. Santa Cruz Organic Agua Fresca is an inspired take on the original agua fresca and is made with ingredients such as organic fruit juice, sugar, and a hint of lemon juice. Santa Cruz Organic Agua Fresca contains USDA Certified Organic ingredients, including organic juice/fruit puree as the most important ingredient, after water of course.

I decided to pull out the chilled bottles of the Agua Fresca and let my family and I enjoy them by the pool. We all tried the Mango Passion fruit first, and this one to be completely honest was my favorite. It was slightly sweet but not something that would make me feel like I’m drinking something that was bad for me. Then we followed up with Pomegranate. Which was also good, not as good as the Mango Passion fruit, but still nice. The thing to remember when drinking these is that they are not juice but agua fresca, so there is almost a diluted juice flavor. Then we finished with Lemonade. I was not a fan of the lemonade as it was extremely tart and not exactly fresh tasting in my own opinion.

The first of many

When I was a little kid sitting at the dinner table I wasn’t allowed to leave the table until everything on my plate was gone (Thank god I wasn’t a picky eater). But because my parents enforced the idea ‘Don’t knock it until you try it’, I  was always willing to try something new. This all of course stemmed from food, but it grew into something much bigger. My mom began calling me Ariel, just like in Walt Disney’s Little Mermaid, gadgets and gizmos of plenty, oozits and whatsits galore… I wanted to try more.  I found myself loving new stuff. I’m talking about Read more
